Yoga is a practice that connects the breath, mind, and the body. This connection has been known to benefit people emotionally and mentally. Ashley Turner, a Psychotherapist and certified yoga teacher states that “yoga is the key to psychological and emotional healing as well as resolving issues with self-confidence, relationships, and more”. (pg. 1)

Anxiety getting the best of you? Having trouble with memory or focus?  Turning off the mind chatter and working toward being in the present moment on and off your mat can be challenging for many of us.

 

A regular yoga practice with meditation can help to calm the mind chatter. Meditation can be as simple as bringing focus back to the breath.
