Alyssa Bajo believes the Yoga practice to be a practice of Self. She sees Yoga as a chance for all to be in deeper communion with the body, mind, and spirit. Her classes are power driven, sweat-inducing, and elementally charged. As a teacher, it is Alyssa’s goal to create a space for her practitioners to feel safe enough to fully surrender to themselves. To move, to shift, yes, but most importantly, to seek beyond the physical body if they so choose. Her classes provide an opportunity to reaffirm and examine how exactly you are holding space for your own Self, in your own life. Alyssa received her 200-hour RYT in Scottsdale, AZ under the training of Jennifer Chiarelli, Anton Mackey and Desiree Grobstein.
Alyssa affirms, “Everything we need is already present within us. Lying dormant in the latest state of potentiality. All it takes is a vibration. A trigger. Some kind of movement to shake this stillness awake. That is the practice of Yoga. An activation. A turning of something into everything.”
